Hi everyone!

I am missing you all this morning! It is such a shame that we are not at school today but we want to keep you and your families safe.

There are some jobs that you can do at home to help with your learning. Here they are…

Literacy- We are reading ‘Where’s My Teddy’ by Jez Alborough this week. Watch the story here- Jez Alborough reads Where’s My Teddy – Bing video Can you then draw and label your favourite part of the story? Bring your work to school tomorrow and we will have a look at your fabulous pictures.

Maths- This week, we are looking at shape. Watch the video for session 1 here- Light and Dark – Week 3 | White Rose Maths Then I would like you to find some shapes around the house and see if you can sort them. Don’t forget to describe the shapes, for example, how many sides do they have? Do they have curved or straight sides? You could ask your grown-up to take some photographs and email them to me at marmalade@perryfields-pri.sandwell.sch.uk

PE- I know how much you all love our mindfulness PE sessions, so I have found a Cosmic Kids routine for ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt- We’re Going on a Bear Hunt | A Cosmic Kids Yoga Adventure! – Bing video You were amazing on Friday remembering all the words so I am sure you will really enjoy it.

Understanding the World- I would like you to get wrapped up nice and warm and venture outside for a winter walk. Look for all the signs of winter that you can see. When you get home (and your fingers have warmed up!) can you draw and label all the signs of winter that you saw? Bring them to school tomorrow and we will see what we have all found.

I hope you enjoy all of these tasks. Fingers crossed we will be back to school tomorrow for lots more fun.

Take care,

Mrs Rudge x
