A Word from Our Head Teacher

Welcome to Perryfields Primary School. I hope that you find our website interesting and informative, providing you with an insight into our school. We welcome visitors into school where they have the chance to meet our incredibly well behaved and well-mannered pupils and our hard-working dedicated team of staff.

At Perryfields we provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which all children have the opportunity to thrive and be successful. We firmly believe that all children are capable of personal success, and by working in partnership with parents and other agencies, we endeavour to achieve this so that all pupils reach their true potential. Here at Perryfields Primary, we have a ‘can do attitude, ‘I can if, not I can’t because!’

We pride ourselves on our nurturing and supportive ethos and always go above and beyond what is ordinarily offered. The well-being of our pupils, parents and staff is of paramount importance and we ensure that this remains a priority. Without doubt, children learn best when they feel happy and safe.

All the children are encouraged to develop lifelong skills so that they are prepared for life beyond Perryfields Primary. We incorporate Building Learning Power within our teaching so that our children learn how to be resilient and resourceful problem solvers. Our 12 Values are also encouraged throughout the school so that all the children aspire to be ‘The best they can be.’ We talk about the importance of ‘kindness’ and being a builder, not a bulldozer.’

As Headteacher of Perryfields, I am proud to say that we have continued to improve our provision in order to meet the needs of our individual pupils and parents and offer quality learning and experiences. We want all children to reflect on their primary school days as being purposeful, enjoyable and of course memorable for all the right reasons.
