Year 3 have had a busy week. Yesterday was International Tolerance Day. We discussed what tolerance means then we read ‘The Colour of Home’ by Mary Hoffman and Karin Littlewood which is about how difficult it can be for a child when they move to a new country.

We discussed how we could make the child feel welcome by showing tolerance and kindness. Then we created some posters to illustrate the sorts of things we enjoy doing in the area we live.

This week has also been Anti Bullying Week and today we watched video clips about bullying and discussed how we can help. Then we created our own posters.
