In Reception, we have all been working very hard to practise our letter sounds both verbally and in the written form. We have worked in some of the areas in the creative zone (Ruby Class) and used various resources and medias to practise our letter formation. We have used playdough, paint, chalk and sand to practise forming the letters that we have found challenging. We have all of the letter sounds we need to practise in our school planners (pages 27 – 30) so that we can continue with our learning at home. All of the staff in Reception are so proud of the children’s efforts when learning letter sounds and letter formation here at school.
