Alert: report of incident in the Rowley Regis area

A report has been received of an incident that happened this morning (Tuesday 17 May 2022) at 8.26am on Cakemore Road, Rowley Regis. A silver medium sized van slowed down, and a male opened the sliding door and shouted at a student. The van then stopped on Woodnorton Road and a male jumped out and grabbed the student by the arm and told her to get in the back of the van. The student pushed him off and ran away. The male shouted at her “I know what school you go to”.

Description: white male, early 40’s, tall, dark brown stubble beard, bald with brown shaved hair on the sides and wearing dark blue jeans, white t‑shirt and grey jacket.

The police have been notified.
