Year One have been busy designing Christmas Jumpers for the mouse in The Gruffalo’s Child to keep them warm during the cold and frosty Winter.

We thought about what kind of Christmassy things we would like to teach the mouse about before drawing our design. It is important to take time and care when drawing to make sure it is as accurate as we can make it. When we colour in, we are working hard on staying within the lines and ensuring there are no white gaps.

It is great to be able to be creative and festive this week after a busy term full of learning in different ways.

Year One wish you all a peaceful, safe and happy Christmas- we are looking forward to sharing our learning with you in the New Year!
