This afternoon, Year One have been busy developing our Art skills of paper folding and sculpturing but creating Winter Trees.

We used folding and curling techniques to create interesting shapes for the barren winter branches. Some of us even used closed scissors to create a curl like we have on Christmas presents. To create a wintery scene, we added snowflakes using chalks and a few snowmen even appeared too!

It was a fun way to retrieve the skills we used at the start of the Year when we made our Tree of Life sculptures which linked with our Into the Woods Theme.
