Last week The Story Fairy sent us Whatever Next to read together. A brilliant story about a little bear who goes to the moon in a cardboard box rocket. We made our own rockets out of paper and pretended to go to the moon in cardboard boxes. We also talked about fireworks and made beautiful firework pictures with paint and glitter. As a special treat at the end of the week we had a picnic on the moon (otherwise known as bubble wrap!) and enjoyed a fairy cake – Yum Yum.
