In our science, we’re learning about Living Thing and their Habitats. Today, we discussed minibeasts and microhabitats. We went on a hunt around the school grounds to see what we could find. One of the logs we turned over was full of slugs and woodlice! We used magnifying glasses to have a closer look at all of the minibeasts. Back in class, we discussed where we found the different creatures and used adjectives to describe their microhabitats.
This afternoon Year 3 joined Year 2 to play games which had been created by the year 3 children. The collaboration, listening and sharing was awesome. All the children involved had a magnificent time and we will possibly join again for future activities.
Last week, we have used many of our skills such as researching, interviewing, planning, drafting and editing to write our Newspaper Articles on Lindisfarne. At the end of last week, we wrote up our newspaper articles, ensuring the features of a newspaper were there....
