This week in Reception, we have had so much fun reading the book “Shark in the Park” by Nick Sharratt. We really enjoyed exploring the different things that Timothy Pope discovered in the park and also beginning to learn lots about words that rhyme.

Today, some of us decided to spend some time in our Reception Small World Area, where we built a mini park and had a go at telling the story out loud. We took it in turns to role play as Timothy Pope and joined in with repeated phrases. To our surprise, we actually discovered that there was indeed, a shark in the park!
