On Monday, all of Year 1 took an exciting trip to a very special place… where history merged with science.

We saw giant flying machines, rocket launchers and amour tanks and how they have evolved over the years!

How can machines so huge and weighty fly in the air? What about gravity?

It was a remarkable experience that left us in awe! We were able to make links- connecting what we could see with what we’ve learnt about ‘Flying Machines’ in the classroom.

We made our own paper rockets and launched them using a rocket launcher.

The best part? …  Without a doubt, was playground!

Oh what a great time we had at the RAF Museum, Cosford!
