Hello Year 5,
Here is your learning for Wednesday if you’re feeling up to having a go. We all hope you’re ok and that your families are too.
English- we have been researching areas of the Titanic in preparation for writing a Non-Chronological report about the ship. Here are the ideas you can pick to research, we are using 4 of them to write 4 paragraphs. Remember, the notes will need to be short so you can turn them into your own sentences rather than simply copying from the internet.
Wednesday 19th January 2022 and Thursday 20th January 2022
Maths- we are starting to think about division without regrouping today. In class, we are using place value counters to work practically sharing into groups after partitioning into tens and ones. You can draw these counters if it helps your understanding and I have included our SMART board pages for you to work through so you’re doing the same as us. This learning will prepare you for moving on to the next stage of division learning tomorrow.
