On this beautiful, sunny Thursday Year 2 had a visit from PC Taylor who works for the British Transport Police.

He came in to speak to us about how he works hard to keep us all safe and to describe his job. He wore his uniform and talked to us about what each part of it was- some of us even got to try on the hats!

Before he left, we were all able to sit in his Police Car. Some of us were lucky enough to sit in the front seat and press the buttons that switch on the blue flashing lights.

We learned lots about the Police and understand that they are there for us if we need help.

As he drove off, PC Taylor pressed his sirens button which was an exciting way to end a brilliant morning.
