Watch out for the ‘Masked Reader’ on the lead up to world book day on Thursday. We will be releasing clips of our contestants reading… and some clues too to help you identify which adult is which! Use the form below to record you answers.
You may want to wait until Thursday to have all the information you need!
The Masked Reader – World Book Day 2021
We will be giving out a prize to one lucky entrant who has the most accurate guesses. We are also asking you to vote for your favourite ‘reader’ – and will reveal all in an online assembly at 2:30pm this Thursday.
World Book Day information for Parents:
Dear Parents and Carers,
We plan to celebrate World Book Day for both our online learners and those in school this year.
On March the 4th, Each child in school will visit the library to take out their new library book with our state-of-the-art computer system! If you’re a home learner – Don’t worry! We will launch a virtual tour so you can see what we’ve been up to whilst you have been keeping yourself safe. Thanks to the generosity of our school community – we have enough books for all and will be letting you take your first one out within your first week back.
Watch out for our assembly at 2:30pm on Thursday – Where we will be inviting you to the Perryfields ‘Masked Reader’. Can you work out the clues to guess which adult is in which disguise?
We know times have been difficult lately. There is no expectation for the children to dress up, so we will have a non-uniform day instead. For this, we ask that children bring in any old reading books that we could use for the library, or donate £1 to help continue the renovations..
Thank you to all the amazing people who have donated to the library project. We have only 4 books left out of 300!
