Alert: report of an incident in the Oldbury area

Date and time of incident: Monday 28 September 2020, 8.30am – 9am

Location: Tame Road (under the bridge before school fields)

A report has been received that a man was standing on the opposite side of the road to a student, he actioned the student to go over to him but the student didn’t. The man then crossed the road and started to follow the student, remaining approximately 10 metres away from him. The student then cut through the woodland and across the school field. When the student arrived near the school gate, the man was near there so student doubled back. When he walked back to the back gate the man was no longer there.

Description: male, late 50’s/early 60’s, wearing a red puffer jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black smart shoes.
